Police appeal after Lynmouth assault

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 38-year-old woman from Bracknell was assaulted by a man in Lynmouth.

The pair, who are known to each other, were arguing in the area of The Esplanade and Riverside Road after leaving a restaurant some time between 7pm and 8pm on July 21.

They got into the car and the man began reversing before punching the woman in the head. She was not injured.

Anyone with information can call police on 101 quoting CR/093085/14.
