Police appeal after Bideford brawl

Two men arrested and bailed for affray following fight on Sunday.

Police are appealing to people who witnessed a fight that took place in Bideford over the weekend to come forward.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, around 3.30am, officers were called to a fight between two men which began near to Natwest Bank and carried on in the street towards the Quay.

A 29 year-old man and a 30 year-old man were both arrested for affray and released on police bail until October.

Both men sustained facial injuries.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the altercation or who has any information which may assist the investigation.
