Police appeal after Abbotsham burglary

Items taken include a television, DVD player and hi-fi.

BIDEFORD police are appealing for information after a burglary from a home in Abbotsham.

The property was entered while the owners were away some time between 3pm on May 2 and May 9.

A police spokesman said items taken included a £500 Panasonic 40-inch TV, a 24-inch Panasonic TV with an integrated DVD player worth £250 and a £200 24-inch Samsung TV.

A Sony hi-fi and Sony DVD player were also stolen.

The spokesman added: “Members of the public are encouraged to ensure that their homes are secure, especially when they may not be at home for periods of time.”

Anyone who may have been offered such items for sale or anyone with any information to please call officers on 101 reference CD/14/912.
