The section of the South West Coast Path by Appledore Lifeboat Station has been closed off temporarily.
A SECTION of the South West Coast Path in Appledore has been closed off due to damage from the storms last weekend.
The area by the Appledore Lifeboat Station travels up some steps and on to a walkway above a low cliff.
But the steps and cliff face got hammered by the sea during the spring tides and now cracks have appeared in the steps and the walkway has been undercut.
Temporary closure notices are up and the diversion along the Torridge Road is marked on the map. For more info visit ww.southwestcoastpath.com.
