The money will pay for a new set of tables for a variety of upcoming events.

Residents at Milton Damerel will soon be sitting down to a new set of tables in their local Parish Hall thanks to a £500 grant.

Torridge District councillor Bob Hicks, of Waldon ward, donated the money to the Parish Hall committee through the councillor community grant scheme.

The tables will be used in a variety of upcoming events in the hall.
