Northam pensioner charged with GBH to face crown court hearing

72-year-old appears at North Devon Magistrates’ Court

A Northam pensioner will face a hearing at Exeter Crown Court after appearing at North Devon Magistrates’ Court charged with GBH with intent to harm on Friday.

Anne Tucker, 72, of J H Taylor Drive in Bideford, is charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding her husband, Stanley Tucker, 79, in the early hours of September 16.

The case was sent straight to Exeter Crown Court due to the serious nature of the charge.

Tucker will remain on conditional bail until the hearing date on October 25 at 10am.
