Big-wave surfer to star as a guest judge in ‘Calzedonia Ocean Girls’

BRAUNTON’S big-wave riding surf star Andrew Cotton is set to star in a new international television show.

The North Devon surfer, who has shot to fame this year by riding waves upwards of 80ft, is starring as a guest judge in new reality series ‘Calzedonia Ocean Girls’.

The six-part series, which will air online next Friday, will involve a group of 10 women taking on a series of physical challenges in the Canary Islands in a bid to become a new brand ambassador for Italian swimwear brand Calzedonia.

Andrew will be one of several extreme sports experts to feature as a judge on the show, also including free diver Tanya Streeter, as the girls undergo challenging water-themed task each week to find a winner.
