North Devon branch of well-known cancer charity is seeking a volunteer willing to lead the local group

A leading charity is looking for a volunteer to help them reach even more people in North Devon who are affected by cancer.

Macmillan Cancer Support is seeking a volunteer who will be willing to take on a variety of tasks, from leading the group and chairing meetings to organising fundraising events along with other group members.

Fundraising manager for Plymouth, North Devon & Tamar Valley, Sian Ward-Edwards said: “This role would be ideal for someone with excellent organisational and people skills.

“For most of our roles, volunteers don’t need to have special skills or experience. They just need to be enthusiastic and willing to learn.

“We provide training if it’s needed and offer on-going support to ensure all our volunteers get the best possible experience while helping us be there for people affected by cancer.”
