Police say a tractor and pick-up truck have collided near Moortown Cross on the A361

The North Devon Link Road is closed both ways this evening (Friday) after a serious crash between a tractor and a pick-up truck.

Police said it is believed one person is still trapped, with fire, ambulance and police on scene to assist.

Commuters have been asked to avoid the area if at all possible and a road closure has been put in place between Bolham Tiverton and the B3227 junction.

The crash was between a tractor towing a trailer and a Ford Ranger pick-up at around 4.50pm near Moortown Cross at South Molton.
