New pharmacy for Bideford

The new dispensary will enable those in the area to collect prescriptions later in the evening.

A NEW pharmacy was officially opened in Asda Bideford on Monday.

The store is extending its opening hours until 11pm Mon-Fri and 10pm on Saturday in timing with the new facility.

Peter Wilcox, community champion for the store, said: “People have been using the facility since we opened it and it’s had a great a response.

“It is fantastic that people in Bideford now have somewhere they can get prescriptions late in the evening.”

The pharmacy was declared open by Bideford Mayor, Councillor Simon Inch.
