New free taxi service for Bideford Cinema

PUBLISHED: 09:58 03 June 2014 | UPDATED: 09:58 03 June 2014

New service run by Number 6 taxis will make it easier for people to get to cinema from Bideford town centre.

BIDEFORD Cinema has teamed up with a local taxi firm to offer a free service from the Quay to the cinema.

The new initiative run with Number 6 Taxis is designed to make it easier for anyone in the town centre to get to the cinema at Kingsley School and Bideford College.

William Isaac, of the cinema, said: “Anyone wishing to go to the cinema by taxi simply buys a 50p ticket in the Number 6 taxi office on Jubilee Square between 45 minutes and 15 minutes before the listed film start time.

“They then get taken to the cinema where the 50p taxi ticket is accepted as payment of 50p towards the price of any ticket purchased.”
