Muddiford road closed after car overturns

Emergency services called to scene near Broomhill this morning (Friday).
THE road between Muddiford and Barnstaple was blocked for an hour this morning (Friday) after a car overturned and hit a bank near the Broomhill Art Hotel.
Police said the man and woman in the blue Vauxhall Astra saloon were able to get clear of the vehicle following the 9am crash, but an ambulance was called for the woman as she was feeling unwell.
The road was reopened at around 10am.
