Police thank the public for their help after man was found two weeks after he was last seen in Derbyshire.

A MISSING man with links to Ilfracombe has been found safe and well after a public appeal.

Officers from Avon and Somerset Police appealed for information to find 30-year-old Luke Simmonds after he vanished from Derbyshire on February 28.

A police spokesman said: “Luke Simmonds has been found following a public appeal for help locating him.

“Luke had been missing since 28 February but has been located safe and well outside of the Avon and Somerset area.

“Thank you to everyone who helped look for him and shared the appeal on social media.”
