Force helicopter and dog units searching Ilfracombe today to find Nicholas Le Corre, 39.

POLICE are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing man and believe he may be in Ilfracombe.

Nicholas Le Corre, believed to be from the Liskeard and Callington area, has no obvious links to the town but it is thought he visited St Philip and St James Church sometime during last night (Tuesday).

Police believe the 39-year-old may be visiting local churches and beauty spots and the public are asked to report any sightings to police.

Local police units, including the force helicopter and dog unit, are currently searching for Mr Le Corre in Ilfracombe and the surrounding area.

He is described as white, of slim build with dark hair and speaks with a West Country accent.

Anyone who sees Mr Le Corre or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log number 166 of 02/07/14.
