Matt runs marathon in memory of teacher

Former Park Community School pupil has raised hundreds-of-pounds for teacher Sara Bluett’s favourite charity.

A FORMER Park Community School pupil ran a marathon along the Tarka Trail on Saturday in memory of teacher Sara Bluett.

Matt Adamson, 16, who left the school this year, ran 24 miles from Braunton to Bideford and then back to Barnstaple, finishing at Tesco Extra.

He completed the challenge in four hours and 20 minutes, raising £300 for the charity Amigos Worldwide.
