Police were called to the Barnhenge roundabout in Barnstaple after reports of a minor collision.

A MAN has died after a collision between two cars at the ‘Barnhenge’ roundabout yesterday (Sunday).

Police were called to scene at around 11am after a black Vauxhall Corsa and a Renault Scenic both suffered minor damage in the collision.

A police spokesman said it is thought the driver of the Corsa, a man in his 60s, had suffered a medical episode at the wheel.

He was taken to North Devon District Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after. His family have been informed.
