Man charged with stealing £21,000 from employer

The 39-year-old entered no plea to the charge at North Devon Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
A FORMER employee of Homebase has appeared in court charged with stealing more than £21,000 from the company.
James Tallin, 39, of The Square, North Molton appeared in North Devon Magistrates’ Court on Friday charged with theft by employee.
Tallin entered no plea to the charge of taking £21,986.76 between December 12, 2012 and December 20, 2013.
Magistrates deemed their powers were insufficient to hear the case, which has been sent to Exeter Crown Court with Tallin to appeal on May 30 at 10am.
