A YOUNG MAN was taken to hospital with burns after a caravan fire at Milton Damerel last night (Wed).
Three fire engines from Holsworthy, Torrington and Hatherleigh were scrambled to the scene at around 11.50pm.
Ambulance crews treated the man, later conveying him to hospital, and also treated a woman found suffering from smoke inhalation.
When fire fighters arrived at the scene they found the caravan well alight, and used a hose reel jet to combat the flames.
