Lorry wedged between house and wall in narrow road

Fire crews and police are currently awaiting specialist rescue equipment after the lorry became stuck this morning (Mon).

A HGV lorry travelling up a narrow lane has become wedged between a house and a high stone wall in Hartland this morning (Mon).

The white Mercedes HGV lorry became completely stuck on East Ball Hill around 9am this morning.

Police and a fire engine were called to the scene, and a fire spokesman said the arctic lorry was fully laden.

Nobody was injured in the collision and all occupants were free of the vehicle when the fire service arrives.

Crews are currently awaiting an engineer with specialist rescue equipment.
