Land Rover and goods worth £35,000 taken from Croyde cafe

Items taken from Baggy’s Cafe included a shotgun, air rifle, computer, iPads and binoculars, as well as distinctive green Land Rover.

A LAND Rover, goods and cash totalling more than £35,000 were taken from a business in Croyde this week.

The items including a shotgun, air rifles, swords, iPads, an iPhone, a MacBook pro, a bayonet, a police truncheon and boxing gloves were taken from Baggy’s Café.

A green Land Rover with the Baggy’s logo was also taken some time between 11pm on Monday and 6am on Tuesday.

Cash totalling £900, a distinctive Mexican pot, a plastic skull, an iPad powerstand and binoculars were also taken.

Anyone who has any information is asked to call police on non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference CN/14/145.
