Car, van and fencing destroyed in fire in the early hours of this morning (Monday).

POLICE and fire fighters are investigating the cause of a fire in Bradworthy which destroyed a car and van as well as nearby guttering and fencing.

Fire crews from Holsworthy were called to numerous reports of a car on fire in Mill Road shortly after 4am this morning (Monday).

They found the flames had spread to a nearby van and on an adjacent commercial property there was guttering and fascia boards alight.

Crews used breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the flames, as well as hydraulic cutters to access the van.

Three metres of fencing, guttering and fascia boarding were severely damaged.
