Intrepid ladies take on Nightwalk

Annual event saw hundreds of ladies walk a variety of routes for the North Devon Hospice.

HUNDREDS of women took part in the annual Nightwalk on Saturday in aid of the North Devon Hospice.

The ladies-only event saw keen walkers set off from Braunton, Saunton Sands, Barnstaple, Torrington and Bideford.

With a variation of routes, participants walked between three and 17 miles, some dressed in colourful costumes.

A second event taking in a route around Tamar Lakes will also be held on Saturday, May 31.
