Ilfracombe man charged with Exeter bank robbery

UPDATED: Justin Bracken Lee appeared before magistrates this morning (Friday) charged with bank robbery on Monday.

AN Ilfracombe man appeared in Exeter Magistrates today (Friday) charged with the armed robbery of a bank in Exeter City Centre.

Justin Bracken Lee, 39, of Arcade Road, Ilfracombe, was arrested last night by officers and spent the night in custody.

Police were called to the Natwest bank on Exeter High Street on Monday afternoon to reports of a robbery.

Bracken Lee was remanded in custody and will appear at Exeter Crown Court on April 17.
