Honiton man appears in court over murder of Westward Ho! man

Keith Beviss, 54, of Honiton appeared at Exeter Magistrates court charged with the murder of Philip Ryan from Westward Ho!

A Honiton man accused of murder has appeared in court this morning (Thursday).

Keith Beviss, 54, of Woodhayes Drive, only confirmed his name and address when he stood before magistrates in Exeter.

Beviss is accused of the murder of Westward Ho! man Philip Ryan, 55, who was found dead at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Dowell Street, Honiton, on Tuesday, June 6.

Magistrates remanded Beviss in custody, and he will next appear at Exeter Crown Court on July 6.
