Bideford-based runners have raised more than £6,000 ahead of running the London Marathon

THREE staff at Holidaycottages.co.uk are preparing to take on the London Marathon.

Luke Hook, James Starkey and Matt Fletcher, who all work for the Bideford-based holiday company, have been training hard through the wet winter months to be able to run in support of their chosen charities.

Luke, 25, from Barnstaple will be running in support of Cancer Research UK and North Devon Hospice, while James, 24, from Bideford is running in memory of his sister Megan and raising money for the MS Trust. Northam runner Matt, 23, is raising money for Bliss Baby Charity.

So far, they’ve raised a combined total of more than £6,000 – a figure which they hope will continue to increase in the coming weeks.

Since January, the trio have clocked up about 900 miles between them – further than the distance between Land’s End and John O’Groats.
