Fire crews were called to the scene in the early hours this morning (Mon).
FIRE crews were called to reports of an overturned gritter lorry on the B3227 near South Molton this morning (Mon).
Two fire engines from South Molton and Bampton, and a heavy rescue vehicle from Middlemoor station attended the scene just after 5am.
The gritter lorry was found on its side, with the driver free and clear of the vehicle.
Crews made the vehicle safe using a triple extension ladder and small tools.
