Greenslade’s legacy

During the next local elections, voters should bear in mind that Councillor Brian Greenslade was the official responsible for closure of Taw Vale to through traffic.

That was in defiance of letters to the press and opposition in debates. He repeatedly resisted all attempts to persuade him not to close the road, insisting that he knew better than the people who use the road.
