Find out how your business rates are spent and have your say about the 2018/19 budget at this North Devon Council event.

Businesses in North Devon are being invited to a free event this month to talk about its budget and business rates.

North Devon Council (NDC) is holding the business consultation event on February 21.

Those attending will receive an update on the council’s 2018/19 budget and be able to find out just how their business rates are spent.

Councillor Pat Barker, NDC deputy leader and executive member for economic development and regeneration, said: “We look forward to engaging with as many local businesses as possible at this event.

“It is a good opportunity for us to share our financial plans for the next year, and to hear any views and ideas local businesses may have.”

The business consultation event takes place in the Barum Room at Brynsworthy Environment Centre, Barnstaple, at 4pm.

However, if you are unable to attend but would like to have your say, please email or write to Economic Development, North Devon Council, PO Box 379, Barnstaple, EX32 2GR.
