Commuters face delays this morning as high tide floods the road between Bideford and Barnstaple.

THE B3233 between Bideford and Barnstaple has been closed this morning due to flooding from the high tide.

It is understood a car hit the water earlier today and overturned, though the driver was reported to be uninjured.

Highways have closed the road until the flooding subsides.

Check back for more as we have it.
