Two fire crews from Braunton and Woolacombe attended the scene on Sunday.
TWO fire engines were called to a house in North Buckland yesterday (Sun) to reports of a stove issuing flames.
The crews from Braunton and Woolacombe arrived at the property just after 4pm to find there had been a small fire in an oil fired stove in the ground floor kitchen.
The fire was out on arrival and crews inspected the appliance using a thermal imaging camera and small tools to make it safe.
The stove suffered slight heat damage and the cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
