Fire crews rescue trapped lorry driver

The lorry driver had to be released from his vehicle by fire fighters after early morning crash.

FIRE FIGHTERS had to rescue a lorry driver after the vehicle overturned through a hedge and into a field in the early hours this morning (Sat).

Two fire engines from Barnstaple and South Molton attended the scene on the A361 at Bishmill around 5.50am.

They used small tools and a short extension ladder to release the casualty.
