Two cars were involved in the collision yesterday evening.
FIRE fighters were called to clean an oil spill from the road after a two vehicle collision in Georgeham yesterday evening (Weds).
Northfield Road was blocked and police, fire fighters and an ambulance attended the scene at 4.35pm.
The drivers of a blue Volkswagen golf and a black Vauxhall astra were checked by paramedics at the scene.
A fire crew from Braunton used an environment pack to clean the oil spill and made the vehicles safe.
