Councils remind electors in North Devon and Torridge to use their vote today (Thursday).
VOTING for the European elections is being held today (Thursday) and people in North Devon and Torridge are reminded to cast their vote.
Elections will take place at local polling stations between 7am and 10pm.
Judith Dark, North Devon Council’s electoral services manager and Paula Hunter Torridge’s manager, said: “Just under 75,000 people in North Devon and 52,000 people in Torridge are eligible for this vote, with over 17,500 people in total choosing to vote by post.
“Everyone else needs to visit their local polling station to cast their vote, so that their voices are heard in Europe.”
Poll cards have already been sent out to everyone who has registered in the North Devon and Torridge areas.
However, if you have misplaced yours, you can still vote as long as you are on the electoral register, by giving your details to the clerk at the polling station.
