Westward Ho! firm honoured at South West Tourism Excellence Awards.

A WESTWARD Ho! business has picked up two awards at the South West Tourism Excellence Awards.

Westward Living at Duckhaven Stud won a silver award in the best self-catering cottage category, and a bronze award for access.

Judges looked at more than 300 entries before announcing 61 winners at the ceremony at the Eden Project.

Westward Living owner Kathy Murdoch said: “We are so proud to win these two awards for our Westward Ho! based business. It’s an incredible achievement in what is only our third year of trading.

“We have had an active focus in this area with our recent developments both at Duckhaven and Latitude 51 and it was great to see that our investment into accessible tourism has been acknowledged.”
