Owner of alsatian sought after it attacks basset hound in Score Valley Woods.
POLICE are seeking the owner of an alsatian which savaged a basset hound at Score Valley Woods in Ilfracombe in what is described as an unprovoked attack.
The incident occurred on Saturday, February 23 as a woman in her 60s walked her basset hound in the woods at around 3pm.
Police said the Alsatian was not muzzled or on a lead as it charged at the smaller dog, which needed stitches after being left with injuries to its back and legs.
