Dog of the week: Lively Max loves to play

Can you give lively and intelligent Max a new home?

With Dogs Trust Ilfracombe

Max is a two-year-old harrier hound cross who arrived at Dogs Trust Ilfracombe after being handed in by his owner due to a change in working hours.

He is very intelligent and although he has had some basic training (he knows sit, down and paw) he’d benefit from more to keep his brain active.

Max could live in a home with older teenagers (16+). He’s looking for someone who loves going for walks and would prefer not to live with cats or small furries although he gets along well with other dogs.

Max would suit experienced owners as he is an excitable dog and gets a bit OTT in his play sometimes! We’re working on improving his manners and our trainers will offer support so you can carry this on in the home.

If you can give Max a home, call 01271 812709.
