A CORONATION Street actor has been reportedly spotted in Braunton today (Weds).

Robin Askwith, who plays musician Ritchie de Vries in the British soap, was spotted by staff at Marsdens Cottage Holidays.

The company tweeted: “#corrie celeb just spotted in Braunton! ‘retired rocker Ritchie’ - Robin Askwith #starsspotting#ndevon.”

Askwith is also known for his role as Timmy Lea in the series Confessions and appeared in the film Carry On Girls.
