Don’t miss the perfect day out as the free Connect and Create Fest returns to Barnstaple this Sunday.

The independent market place family festival will be held at the Pannier Market and features a host of live musicians, crafts, food, clothing and local businesses from 10am-6pm.

The festival is now in its third year and is organised by Chay West, who owns Barnstaple vintage clothing store The Cove.

He said: “I have more than 100 local business, musicians, food and drink stalls, charities and artists signed up to the day this year, with lots of interactive workshops and activities available to the public, as well as live entertainment all through the day.”

There will be live music on the Kitty Blossom Stage from 11.30am, with performers including The 5.15, Black Anchors, Sam Green, Unlimited Dance Company and Harry and Gondolas.

There will be tables and seating areas surrounded by street food vendors including Monty’s Caribbean Kitchen, Big Pot Kitchen, Pig and Olive and Calaca Loca to name just a few.

The event will be working with local charities including Children’s Hospice South West, North Devon Hospice, CLIC Sargent, Parkinson’s UK and NDADA (North Devon Against Domestic Abuse).
