Diamond Jubilee event helps raise money for North Devon Chemotherapy Appeal.
A CONCERT organised by St Peter’s Church in Ashford, near Barnstaple has raised £534 for the Chemotherapy Appeal.
The concert was held in the church hall at Wrafton, near Braunton, and featured music by the Two Rivers Brass Ensemble and the Barnstaple Ladies’ Choir.
The donation was made in memory of the late John Taylor, a well-known Ashford resident who was cared for in the Chemotherapy Unit at North Devon District Hospital.
The Diamond Jubilee event raised £1,068 in total, with half going to the appeal and half to St Peter’s Church.
