More than 300 gifts donated to families supported by the hospice

RGB Building Supplies has thanked the North Devon community after more than 300 gifts were donated to their Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) Christmas Present appeal.

The presents were given to all the families supported by the hospice, which provides care ranging from short breaks to end of life care across the South West.

The builders’ merchant, who held fundraising events throughout 2017, had Christmas trees in their branches where the community could leave their donated presents.

Naomi Dymond, corporate partnerships fundraiser at CHSW, said: “We have been overwhelmed by the number of gifts donated by RGB staff and customers this year and can’t thank everyone enough for their very generous support.

“Christmas is a very special time, and this is especially true for the families we care for at our hospices.”

Jenny Naylor, RGB’s human resources director, said: “A huge thank you to everyone who donated; all the gifts help ensure families staying at one of the charity’s hospices over the Christmas period have a magical time.”
