Green Lanes Shopping Centre is hosting plenty of festive fun this yuletide season

Christmas fun for all ages will abound at Green Lanes Shopping Centre in Barnstaple.

Santa’s Grotto opened on Sunday and it is just a taste of a busy festive season.

In partnership with Barnstaple Town Centre Management there is late night shopping every Thursday in December, with Green Lanes open until 9pm.

Live performers will add plenty of sparkle to late shopping, beginning on December 7 with Sparky the Robot.

Musical Ruth the Nun will be buzzing around on her mobile piano on December 14 and The Bouncing Elves will be in town on December 21.

Green Lanes has a massive walk-through Christmas tree this year, with local choirs singing throughout the festive period.

There will be entertainment and street performers within the centre itself from December 15-23, with magician Dave Hendy starting things off, plus the Queen’s panto cast on December 16 at noon and much more to follow including stiltwalkers, Minions, Mickey and Minnie Mouse and a host of teddy bears.
