Council looks set to approve funding for anew camera to tackle anti social behaviour in the area.
NORTH Devon Council is being recommended to pay for a CCTV camera at Pilton Causeway in Barnstaple as well as improvements to nearby Rotary Gardens.
The executive committee will on Tuesday be recommended to approve release of £20,000 for the camera and £7,956 from ‘section 106’ money obtained from developers for public open space provision.
A report to the committee says the camera is needed to tackle anti social behaviour at Pilton Causeway, Pilton Park and around the public toilets.
