Police hunt ‘hoodie-wearing’ suspect.
CARS have been pelted with rocks during separate incidents on the A399 near Combe Martin.
Police believe the same culprit is responsible for two attacks on Newberry Hill within the space of a week.
A brown Land Rover towing a caravan in the Combe Martin direction was the first target at around 7.40pm on August 31.
Shocked holidaymakers returning home after a stay in the area told police they saw a young man jump out from behind a hedge.
Then at around 5pm on Friday, a rock was thrown at a grey Nissan Primera driving near the John Fowler holiday park.
The driver told police he believed a stone, which struck the driver-side rear door, was deliberately thrown from behind a hedge.
Police would like to identify a young man wearing a black hooded top with red writing on the front.
Anyone with any information is asked to call 101 quoting crime references CI 13999 or CI 1031.
