RESIDENTS at Kenwith Castle’s care home in Bideford sported hilarious hairdos in support of CLIC Sargent’s Wig Wednesday.

Residents and staff wore a colourful array of wigs in support of the initiatives, from tinsel bobs to colourful Mohicans.

Staff also held a coffee morning to raise money for the cause, during which residents and their relatives enjoyed a drink and a chat.

Rae Vanstone, matron at Kenwith Castle, said: “We had a brilliant time supporting the ‘Wig Wednesday’ campaign with residents and their relatives.

“It was a great initiative that made everyone laugh and was a lovely way to raise money for such a good cause.”

The money raised will go towards supporting children and young people with cancer.
