POLICE were called to the Barbrook Service Station in Lynton this morning (Mon) after a car ended up on its roof.

Fire crews from Lynton also attended the scene at 10am as reports indicated a person might be trapped inside the silver Vauxhall Corsa.

But on arrival fire fighters found everyone free and clear of the vehicle. Police could not confirm how many people had been in the car at the time.

The vehicle was recovered and the road cleared by 12.30pm.
