Car fire in North Molton

The private people carrier’s fuse box caught fire in The Square last night.

FIRE crews arrived in The Square in North Molton last night (Thur) to extinguish a car on fire.

The private people carrier-type vehicle had a small fire in the fuse box within the engine compartment.

A fire engine from Barnstaple attended the scene around 10.25pm and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

The cause is believed to be accidental.
