Car ends up down 30 metre ravine in Combe Martin

Fire fighters were scrambled to reports of the collision at around 4pm yesterday (Thurs).

FIRE fighters were called out to Combe Martin yesterday (Thurs) afternoon after a car plummeted down a 30 metre ravine.

Arriving at the scene near Combe Martin Wildlife Park at around 4pm, fire fighters feared the occupants of the vehicle were trapped.

However, the occupants of the vehicle had escaped to safety and were treated by paramedics.

Fire fighters made the vehicle safe before leaving duty of care with the police.
