POLICE hope a distinctive hooded top could help to identify a suspects caught on CCTV apparently trying to break into cars in Combe Martin.

The pictures were captured at West Challacombe Lane on Tuesday, January 22 just after 1.40am, with two people seen on camera trying the door handles of cars parked in the road.

It is not thought anything was stolen, but police believe the two suspects may have tried to break in to other vehicles in the area on the night.

Anyone who might be able to help identify the person in the picture is asked to contact Combe Martin Neighbourhood Beat Manager PC Martin Beck by dialling 101.
