Residents will take to the polls on Thursday, August 15.

FOUR candidates have been announced for a forthcoming election to fill a Torridge District Council vacancy.

The poll for the Shebbear and Langtree ward will be held on Thursday, August 15.

The four candidates are David Walter Hurley (Conservative), Colin David Jones (Green) Penny Mills (UKIP) and Bob Wooton.

Applications for postal votes must reach the electoral registration officer at Riverbank House, Bideford, Devon, EX39 2QG by 5 pm on Wednesday, 31st July 2013.
