Fire crews called to deal with small hedgerow blaze on Saturday.

A hedgerow at Bondleigh near North Tawton caught fire on Saturday after a tractor and trailer hit and electricity pole.

Fire crews from North Tawton and Okehampton were called out just before 5pm after arcing of the high power cable started a small blaze.

Fire fighters used a dry powder extinguisher on the flames and kept the scene safe until Western Power arrived.

It is thought no one was injured during the incident.
